Whether itโs washing, drying, or storing, our simple guidelines will help you maintain the quality and comfort of your Bedelite items for years to come.
First, check the washing label to determine the material of your Bedelite products.
Follow the cleaning instructions for each material below:
Cotton
Cotton is valued for its durability and absorbency; improper cleaning can lead to shrinkage and wear.
โข Machine wash in warm or cold water.
โข Use regular detergent.
โข Avoid using bleach on colored cotton.
โข Tumble dry on low to medium heat.
Bamboo
Bamboo fabric is known for its breathability and moisture-wicking properties; mishandling during cleaning can cause the fabric to lose its breathability and softness.
โข Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle.
โข Use mild detergent.
โข Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners.
โข Tumble dry on low heat or air dry.
Linen
Linen is prized for its strength and breathability; incorrect washing can cause excessive wrinkling and damage.
โข Machine wash in cold or warm water on a gentle cycle.
โข Use mild detergent.
โข Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners.
โข Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry.
Lyocell
Lyocell is smooth and moisture-wicking; improper care can reduce its softness and durability.

Polyester
Polyester is known for its durability and wrinkle resistance; improper washing can damage the fabric and cause the fabric to lose its strength.
โข Machine wash in warm water.

โข Avoid using bleach.
โข Tumble dry on low heat.
Memory Foam
Memory Foam conforms to body shape and provides support; water and agitation can damage its structure, so spot clean with mild detergent and water.
โข Do not machine wash or immerse in water, instead spot clean with a mild detergent.
โข Allow to air dry completely before use.

Comforter Sets / Quilts / Mattress Protectors
- Machine wash separately in cold water (below 86โ).
- Gentle cycle only.
- Do not bleach.
- Tumble dry low.
- Do not iron, do not dry clean.
- No chlorine-based detergents.
Pillow (Polyester filling)
- Machine wash separately in cold water (below 86โ).
- Gentle cycle only.
- Do not bleach.
- Tumble dry low.
- Do not iron, do not dry clean.
- No chlorine bleach.
Pillow / Mattress (Cover only)
- Machine wash cover in cold water (โค86โ) separately.
- Gentle cycle only.
- Do not bleach.
- Tumble dry low.
- Iron on low if needed.
- Do not dry clean. Do not wash foam.
- Close zipper before washing.
Sheets / Duvet Covers / Pillowcases / Sham
- Machine wash cold (โค86โ) separately.
- Gentle cycle only.
- Do not bleach.
- Tumble dry low.
- Iron on low if needed.
- Do not dry clean. No chlorine bleach.
- Close zippers before wash.
Blankets
- Dark colors: Machine wash cold (โค86โ) separately.
- Light colors: Machine wash warm (104โ) separately.
- Gentle cycle only.
- Do not bleach.
- Tumble dry low.
- Do not iron, do not dry clean.
Wearable Blankets
- Dark colors: cold water (โค86โ) separately.
- Light colors: warm water (104โ) separately.
- Gentle cycle only. Do not bleach.
- Tumble dry low. Do not iron.
- Do not dry clean. No chlorine.
Heated Blankets
- Soak in mild soapy cold water for 15 min, stir gently, then add clean water.
- Air dry over two parallel lines. Do not use clothespins.
- Preheat dryer on low for 2 min, then dry on low for 10 min; if still wet, air dry.
- Do not dry clean, bleach, or use chemical cleaners.
- Suggestion: avoid frequent washing.
Heating Pads
- Hand wash or machine wash gentle cycle in warm water with mild detergent.
- Soak 5 min, stir 2 min, spin dry, then low temp dry 5 min.
- Pull to original size and air dry. Do not iron.
- Do not dry clean or bleach. No chemical cleaners.
- Suggestion: wash only when necessary.
