These sheets are soooo soft! I couldn’t wait to get them washed and put them on the bed. Thankfully, I took the time to read the card with the manufacturer’s instructions for how to wash them; had I not, I likely would have washed them in warm water and shrunk them into toddler size sheets. I didn’t realize these bamboo sheets are so susceptible to shrinking, so be sure you take a look at the care instructions card before the first wash.Once I got them washed, I was impressed the quality of the corner stitching around the elastic. Over time, I’ve found that this is the area that tends to wear out first. But most important to me was the fact that each corner has a wide, firmly stitched in strap to hold the corners on the bed. Seriously, this made such a huge difference in the way the sheets stayed nice and taut throughout the night. These sheets are super silky! I did wash them and put them in the dryer on delicate cycle and they did not shrink at all. They fit my extra deep king-size mattress perfectly without any lifting on the sides. The straps that hold down in each corner actually tucked right under the mattress so hopefully there is no pulling during sleep.They feel really well-made and I’m super happy that they washed well. I have a hard time getting king-size sheets to actually fit my very deep mattress.I will update once we’ve slept on it for a while to see if they are actually cooling, I run very hot in the night so having cooling sheets is a must for me.They did come out of the dryer a little wrinkled, but that doesn’t bother me since a comforter goes over the sheet anyway.
