This velvety quilt set has softness and beauty. It has that crushed velvet look, in that you can see the variance in the texture right away by the way the light hits the fabric. The underside fabric is also soft, but has a smooth finish. This color, Rose Pink, is exactly what I wanted for our guest room. My up-close pics have washed out the color, so know that the first pic, with the coverlet on the bed, is a better representation of the real color. I like that this comforter is not overly heavy and can easily fit into my washing machine. I also appreciate that this comforter fits my Queen size bed just right. The coverage extends to the wood side panels, with some left over even, so that this comforter does not look skimpy.

This velvet quilt king size set by BEDELITE is very pretty.It is fairly thin, but that’s what I wanted to use in spring and summer months. I love its understated simplicity while still looking lush.It is very soft, which is exactly what I wanted to use from any blanket or sheets that I put on my bed. I have a standard king, and it fit perfectly.My only wish is that it came with matching sheets, instead of just two pillow cases.Other than that, I really like it and would recommend.The only reason I took off a star is that I think it’s a bit pricy for what you get.

This is a very nice quality quilt, with beautiful stitching and a very pleasant microplush feel to the fabric. The size is incredible. I always have a hard time finding a quilt that truly covers the bed adequately, and this drapes beautifully to cover all of our 14" thick mattress. It's very easy to care for (machine wash/dry), and is comfortable. I would call this a medium temperature quilt. Since it is polyester material, it's not as breathable as cotton, so it might be a little too heavy for a warm summer night, but for the in-between weather, it's lovely. I do have some regrets about my color choice (ivory), because it has more yellow/warmth to the shade than I was hoping and doesn't look as neutral as it appears in the photos when seen in person.

Wife loves quilts so I picked this one up for the bedroom. I picked the rose pink. Then it showed up and she said it looked like something out of 1994. So that's where we are with the color.The quilt itself though is velvety, has that soft shimmer to it, and the channel stitching looks clean. Not very thick which is what we wanted. It's a lighter quilt, not a heavy comforter. Works fine with a sheet underneath in spring and summer.King size and it actually hangs over the edges of the bed and comes with two pillow shams that match. The velvet feels like velvet, and it is supposed to be machine washable too. I haven't tested that out yet, but it is big, you might need the laundromat or a front loader. Price is not bad compared to fancy name at the big box store bullseye nearby.She's already looking at the cream white one to replace this. The quilt is fine. The color is the problem and that's on us.
