Silky-soft sateen that is easy to care for
BEDELITE silky sateen pillowcase set — polyester, satin, Queen(4 pack) (20" x 30") through Small King(4 Pack) (20" x 36"), OEKO-TEX® certified, machine washable
There's a reason beauty editors swear by satin pillowcases—and it's not just about feeling pampered. Satin's ultra-smooth surface creates less friction than cotton, which means fewer sleep creases on your face and less breakage for your hair. The BEDELITE Satin Pillowcases (4-Pack) bring that silk-like experience to every bedroom, at a fraction of the cost. Woven from 100% high-quality polyester satin, each case mimics the cool, liquid drape of real silk while being sturdier, more durable, and machine washable. The envelope closure means no zipper, no hardware—just a clean, elegant fold that keeps your pillow secure all night.

Why it earns its place

Match the set to what you already own
Match the case to the pillow you already own, not to the bed. If you are between sizes, the larger case fits a fuller pillow without bunching.
| Size | Dimensions | Pack | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 20″ × 26″ | 4-Pack | Standard bed pillows |
| Queen ★ most popular | 20″ × 30″ | 4-Pack | Queen-size bed pillows |
| Small King | 20″ × 36″ | 4-Pack | King-size bed pillows |
Measurements are taken flat and follow US standard sizing. When in doubt between two sizes, take the larger one.
Between two sizes? Take the bigger one. A fit that is too small is the single most common reason this category gets returned.
How it stacks up
BEDELITE vs. the ordinary silky sateen pillowcase set
Most cases at this price are cut from the same generic polyester. Here is the difference line by line.
| Feature | BEDELITE | Ordinary option |
|---|---|---|
| Closure | Hidden zipper or deep envelope hem — the pillow stays in | Open end; the pillow slides out overnight |
| Surface friction | Smooth finish that reduces drag on skin and hair | Rough weave that catches and creases |
| Temperature | Naturally breathable and moisture-wicking | Traps heat; you wake up flipping to the cool side |
| Durability | Holds shape and color through repeated washing | Fades and thins along the fold |
| Certification | OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 | Usually none |
| Care | Machine wash cold, tumble dry low | Often hand-wash only |

Materials & craftsmanship

Satin isn't a fiber—it's a weave. The satin weave floats warp threads over multiple weft threads, creating a surface that reflects light and feels impossibly smooth. We use polyester because it's stronger, more affordable, and easier to care for than silk, while delivering the same silky hand-feel.
- Material: 100% Polyester Satin
- Closure: Envelope (no zipper, no hardware)
- Pack: 4 pillowcases per pack

Machine-washable care — keep it soft for years
- Do not bleach; colorfast dyes hold their shade wash after wash Cold water keeps the fibers and the certified dyes intact.
- Machine wash cold on gentle cycle with like colors Cold water keeps the fibers and the certified dyes intact.
- Tumble dry low or hang to dry—satin dries quickly Low heat only — high heat is what mats fibers down.
- Cool iron on the reverse side if needed—do not iron the satin face directly The pile recovers on its own; pressing flattens it.
Pro tip: a front-loading machine is gentler than a top-loader with an agitator. If you only have a top-loader, use the "bulky" or "delicate" setting and a low spin speed.

Questions people ask before buying
What size is it?
Dimensions are listed in the size table above. Match them to the pillow you already own — if you are between sizes, the larger case fits a fuller pillow without bunching at the corners. Sizes available: Standard 20″ × 26″ · Queen 20″ × 30″ · Small King 20″ × 36″.
Does it have a zipper?
Closure type is listed in the size table above — either a hidden zipper or a deep envelope hem, both designed to keep the pillow fully inside.
Will it help with night sweats?
Cooling fabrics wick moisture away from the skin rather than holding it, which is what reduces that damp, overheated feeling. Bamboo-derived and silk are the coolest options.
Is it good for hair and skin?
A smooth, low-friction surface reduces the tugging that causes breakage and sleep creases. That is the main reason people switch from cotton to silk or sateen.
Can I machine wash it?
Yes — cold, gentle cycle, tumble dry low. Silk does best in a mesh bag. No bleach.
How many come in a pack?
The pack count is in the product title and size table above.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. Fabric and dyes are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, tested against a list of harmful substances.
Is it a good gift?
Yes — a pillowcase is a small, genuinely useful gift that suits almost anyone, and it is easy to pair with a matching set later.
